PREPARATION & AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Absolute Contraindications:
• HIV/AIDS
• Hepatitis B or C
• Active cancer or any neoplasms (benign or malignant)
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Poorly controlled or decompensated diabetes
• Active skin infections in the treatment area (herpes simplex, bacterial, or fungal)
• Autoimmune or immunodeficiency disorders
• Known tendency to form keloid or hypertrophic scars
• Allergies to pigments, topical anesthetics, or other procedure-related materials
Relative or Temporary Contraindications (consult your specialist) :
• Stable diabetes under medical supervision
• Use of blood-thinning medications or supplements
• Recent chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments in the treatment area
• Recent Botox or filler treatments in the treatment area
• Active inflammatory skin conditions (acne, dermatitis, eczema)
PREPARATION
Brows
- Do not use long-lasting eyebrow dyes or undergo brow lamination prior to the procedure.
- Avoid tanning for at least 2 weeks before and after the treatment.
- Discontinue acids, retinoids, and cosmetic procedures 1 month before your appointment.

Avoid coffee and alcohol 24 hours before and after the procedure to minimize swelling and sensitivity.
Lips
- Arrive with well-hydrated lips; severe dryness or peeling is a contraindication.
- Exfoliate and moisturize lips 3 days before the procedure using a scrub and a fatty ointment (dexpanthenol or coconut oil).
- If prone to herpes, take antiviral medication as prescribed.
- Avoid coffee and alcohol 24 hours before and after.
- Prepare Vaseline and disposable straws.

Avoid tanning 1 week before and after.
Eyes
- Remove eyelash extensions 2–3 days before the procedure.
- Avoid tanning for at least 2 weeks before and after.
- Discontinue acids, retinol, and any cosmetic procedures 1 month prior to reduce the risk of irritation or inflammation.
- Avoid coffee and alcohol 24 hours before and after.
AFTERCARE
Brows
- Keep eyebrows dry for 3 days. Avoid water contact while showering.
- Wipe once with chlorhexidine (0.05%) on the day of the procedure before bed.
- From day 4, wash your face normally and apply a thin layer of Vaseline 1–2 times/day. Do not use other products.
- Do not peel, scratch, or pick at scabs. This can cause scarring and affect pigment retention.
- Avoid baths, saunas, steam, and intense exercise for 2 weeks. Quick showers are fine.
- Avoid sun for 2–3 weeks. Use SPF 50 on the brow area.
- Cosmetic procedures may resume 1 month after treatment.
Lips
- Keep lips dry for 1 hour after the procedure; do not touch them.
- On the day of the procedure, wipe lips once with chlorhexidine (0,05%) before bed; do not wipe again.
- From day 2, apply a thin layer of Vaseline using gentle patting motions (5–7 times/day).
- Minor peeling may occur in the first 2–3 days. Do not peel; pigment retention and healing will be affected.
- Avoid water contact and brushing teeth for 2–3 days; chew gum if needed.
- Avoid baths, saunas, and steam for 2 weeks. Showers are allowed without wetting the lips.
- Eat carefully with utensils; avoid touching lips directly.
- Drink through a straw and avoid hot drinks/foods for 3 days.
- Take antiviral medication as prescribed to prevent herpes outbreaks.
Eyes
- Keep eyes dry for 7 days; do not touch or wipe them.
- Do not use decorative cosmetics for 1 week.
- Avoid sun, saunas, steam, and intense physical activity for 2–3 weeks.
- Any cosmetic procedures may resume 1 month after the treatment.
