PRECARE/AFTERCARE INSTRACTONS
Contraindications
For Lips: In addition, confirm the absence of dryness, ulcers, hematomas, new growths in the area and around, recent injections (less than 2 weeks) in the tattooing area.
PRECARE
Brows
- Avoid using long-lasting eyebrow dyes.
- Avoid eyebrow lamination.
- Refrain from consuming coffee and alcohol for 2 days before and after the procedure.
- Do not tan for at least 2 weeks before and after the procedure.
Lips
- It is crucial to come to the procedure with well-hydrated lips. Strong peeling and dry lips are a direct contraindication for the procedure.
- Start exfoliating and moisturizing your lips during the day at 3-4 days before the procedure. If you are prone to herpes outbreaks, begin taking antiviral medication for example such as Acyclovir or Valtrex (or any equivalent) by your doctor's prescription, 1-2 days before the procedure, for a duration of 5 days.
- Avoid coffee and alcohol for 2 days before and after the procedure.
- In advance, purchase Vaseline and disposable drink straws.
- Do not tan for at least 2 weeks before and after the procedure.
Eyes
- Remove eyelash extensions 2-3 days before the procedure.
- Avoid coffee and alcohol 2 days before and after the procedure.
- Do not tan for at least 2 weeks before and after the procedure.
AFTERCARE
Brows
- Do not moist your eyebrows for 7 days.
- Do not wipe or touch brows. Exclude sports, baths, and saunas for 2 weeks (do not steam the face).
- After the procedure, do not sunbathe for 14 days. Then, before going outside, apply sunblock on your brows.
- Avoid any cosmetic procedures for 1 month.
Lips
- Keep your lips dry for 1 hour after the procedure.
- On the day of the procedure, before bedtime, wipe your lips once with a solution of chlorhexidine or other antiseptic antibacterial spray and do not wipe them again.
- Avoid getting your lips wet or wiping them for 4 days. If you experience tightness, apply a thin layer of Vaseline with your finger (no more than 5-7 times a day).
- Do not brush your teeth for 2-3 days (chew gum instead).
- Avoid baths, saunas, and sports for 2 weeks.
- Eat carefully using a fork without touching it with your lips.
- Drink through a straw and avoid hot drinks for 3 days.
- To prevent traumatic herpes, take an antiviral medication as prescribed by a doctor.
- Don't be alarmed by the brightness of your lips in the first 2 days after the procedure; it is temporary and will disappear along with peeling on the second/third day.
Eyes
- Avoid wetting your eyes for 7 days.
- Do not wipe or touch your eyes.
- Avoid wearing makeup until they are fully healed.
